Our Approach
Clearview Eye Care is completely dedicated to helping families preserve their precious gift of

Our philosophy of
care begins with listening to what our patients' main concerns/goals are for themselves.
After
determining what types of risk factors they exhibit through a comprehensive exam, we offer
treatment choices that fit into what is going on in his patients' lives: work, school, family, budget,
scheduling needs, etc.

Dr. Kweku Micah, O.D.
Dr. Micah loves helping people and truly cares for his patients. His warm, genuine
personality and commitment to excellence helps young and old alike feel confident and
comfortable in his office.
You can be certain that he will treat you as if you were a
life-long friend or family member.
Dr. Micah provides comprehensive eye care and has
special interest in areas of primary ocular disease, and helping patients with complex
contact lens fittings.
His goal as an optometrist is to offer a long-term strategy, not just quick fixes, to achieve
excellent ocular health and vision that one can be confident about.
He doesn’t just simply care
about ensuring that you have clear and comfortable vision.
Dr. Micah also cares about the
health of eyes, and how your ocular health can support your holistic wellbeing.
Ocular health
can sometimes be a predictor of what is going on with your systemic health.
He has been using
this approach throughout his tenure as an optometrist and has taken the initiative to continue to
educate himself about ocular complications of systemic conditions and diseases.
Cincinnati is home by choice for Dr. Micah. He moved to Cincinnati from Chicago in 2007.
Dr.
Micah completed his undergraduate studies in 2003 at Oberlin College in Northeast Ohio, where
he received his B.A. in Biochemistry.
He then earned his Doctor of Optometry in 2007 at the
Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
The Illinois College of Optometry ranks as one of the
nation’s premier institutions of optometric education.
Dr. Micah has been practicing optometry in the Greater Cincinnati area since 2007.
He
specializes in primary eye care, management and co-management of eye diseases, surgical
co-management and fitting of speciality contact lenses.
His warm, down-to-earth and
compassionate nature helps patients feel comfortable in his care.
Dr. Micah is fortunate to have
patients who return year after year. He treats each patient as family and wants them to have
the best eye care.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Micah enjoys drawing, cooking brunch and reading
biographical books.
Dr. Micah lives in West Chester Township with his wife, Ama and their two
children, a son and daughter.
Dr. Micah loves Buckeye football (he anticipates it all year!).
Dr.
Micah loves traveling and counts London and Dar Es Salaam amongst her favorite destination
spots.
